#843 – Ultra X3 1000W Modular Power Supply Video Review

Posted in supplies  by: admin
February 24th, 2010

“What separates the Ultra X3 1000W Modular Power Supply from the many other’s that are on the market is it’s completely modular. Some power supplies within the 1000W range claim to be modular, but the main motherboard leads are still hard wired into the power supply. This power supply comes with a very quiet 135mm fan which provides fantastic cooling and means this it can be used in almost any environment. I also like the fact that the Ultra X3 line of power supplies ranges from 600 watts to 1600 watts. So the user can pick a model for their power requirements. Watch the video to find out more and check out the bloopers at the end.” ~3dGameMan.com

Ohio Farm Bureau Members Get Back to Basics on Bob Evans Farm

Posted in and-preserving canning  by: admin
February 24th, 2010

For nearly 70 Ohioans, a recent trip to the Bob Evans Farm in southeast Ohio was all about getting back to basics.

The Ohio Farm Bureaus first ever Grow and Know Day was geared toward gardeners, backyard farmers, landowners and others who wanted to learn from the experts how they take care of the land and how the land can take of them.

The days topics included gardening, canning, pest control, soil health, cooking, raising poultry and beekeeping.

According to Janet Cassidy, Farm Bureaus director of membership marketing, the event was part of Farm Bureaus efforts to reach out to anyone with an interest in growing food.

Folks want to get back to basics, its a hot topic right now, she said. e can offer them agricultural experiences from farm tours to on-farm dining experiences. We can keep them connected to local farmers in their community through the buying local directory. So theres lots of opportunities for everybody in Farm Bureau.

Cassidy said the economic downturn has driven people to explore simpler lifestyles by gardening more and raising and preserving their own food.

This economy has sort of reset folks clocks in terms of wanting to live more simply and that is certainly Farm Bureau is familiar with and can agree with, she said.
