Essential supplies to stock up on while you still can. Anything can happen in these uncertain times. It’ll happen when you least anticipate it, and you’ll need to be prepared. Natural disasters, Martial law, Economic Society Collapse, Domestic terrorism are just some of the things that can happen. This shows some of the cheaper supply options. There are some pretty good substitute options if your willing to spend the extra money. MREs have at least a 5 year shelf-life. Also a water filter would be great. I tried to add as much info as I could, and the video still went over 10 minutes. There might be a few items missing(garden seeds, vitamins, over the counter and prescription medicines, toilet paper, tampons, ect.). Also there are items that only pertain to your situation. Thanks.

I recommend getting …
I recommend getting a handgun for home defense. While there is nothing more intimidating that the sound of a pump shotgun, a handgun is much more maneuverable, and if you get a high caliber (.40S&W, .45LC, etc), than it will compensate for losing the knockdown power of a shotgun. I recommend getting a Glock, or at least some other kind of auto – never a revolver. You need to be able to fire as many rounds as possible. It’s rarely “one shot, one kill” as it is in many computer games.

While a pellet rifle may not be the most powerful option for a weapon, it can kill birds, is very quiet, and ammunition is CHEAP and takes up very little space, and is very quiet. Just be sure to get a pump design, and not CO2. Though CO2 allows you to pop off rounds faster, it is expensive, and takes up a lot of storage space. My rifle is a pump, and it works fine for me.

One of the things that I put great value on is a good first aid kit. You need a very extensive kit, and you’re gonna have to make it yourself. because No pre-made kit will have the right stuff in it.
I keep one in my room, and use it all the time, so it’s useful even if there never is a real disaster.
As for ammunition, I have nearly 1k rounds of .22LR ammo for my rifle, and 75 rounds of 12ga shotgun ammo for my shotgun.
I also have a pellet rifle with 350 BBs (for small birds).

re toilet seat: You can take your current toilet seat off and put it on your bucket or empty kitty litter plastic container ( lined with garbage bag as you suggested ). Don’t forget the twist ties! When you dispose of it, you can tie the top of the bag in a knot and reuse the twist tie.

Make sure to not select high sodium foods (salty) because they will make you more thirsty and you will consume MORE water. the Ramen Soup is ok for the noodles, but I would only use 1 third of the seasoning pack to lower sodium. Canned meats, fruits, tuna, etc. Use a 5 gallon bucket for toilet. Put kitchen trach bag in it and make a plywood seat with hole. WATER, WATER, WATER!

Buy 2 or 3 tarps, attach to roof with nails, funnel to large PVC pipe to 55 gal rainbarrels then immed. transfer to 5 gal. food grade pails, disinfect with bleach, 14 drops to 1 gal.
