“Corsair HX line of power supplies are currently acquirable in a number of wattages; 450, 520, 620, 750, 850 & 1000. The Corsair HX750W Power Supply is considered a higher end model and the results certainly validate that. The approximate maximum peek output of the 3.3/5v rail is 150 watts and the 12v is 744 watts. For most setups the HX750 will do the trick, even some higher end gaming rigs. Watch the video to find out more…” ~http://www.3dGameMan.com

  9. 1981z28camaro Says:

    that’s true, it all …
that’s true, it all depends on your situation, some people may have to save up for 3 months for the same thing that would take someone else a month of saving, it all depends on how bad you want something, wether or not you think it’s worth it, and how long your willing to save up :-)

like I would love to have the “FusionIO ioDrive” but I don’t think it’s worth saving up for 15 years, lol

(Probably load 1000 programs in 8 seconds flat) lol

  10. kidowner Says:

    @1981z28camaro yea. …
@1981z28camaro yea… but its hard saving money..

  11. 1981z28camaro Says:

    well the thing …
well the thing about price, is it doesn’t matter (To an extent) if you’re patient :-)

  12. kidowner Says:

    @1981z28camaro i …
@1981z28camaro i kinda agree but i first go with price(since im not rich or have money to spend on) quality and warranty

  13. kidowner Says:

    @jeroeniskoning i …
@jeroeniskoning i guess the big deference is that the HX is modular while TX is not

  14. jeroeniskoning Says:

    What are the …
What are the differences between the HX and TX series?

  15. meetajhu Says:

    another kickass …
another kickass review! Rodney is the best reviewer in the planet!

  16. AndreaFranchitti Says:

    where is the noise? …
    where is the noise? damn…

  17. ComputerNoob44 Says:

    thanks for the …
    thanks for the review
I went for the TX 750W and Corsair really makes great PSUs

  18. raouldijksman Says:

    same
    same

  19. charleshoskinson Says:

    SLI means that …
SLI means that crossfire is also supported. I’ve never seen a PS that supports one and not the other.

  20. 1981z28camaro Says:

    and actually the …
and actually the price is the last thing I consider, it goes in this order. (For PSU’s)

    1. Quality
    2. Warranty
    3. Price

noobies reverse the order, their list is like this:

    1. Price
    2. Warranty
    3. Quality

    LOL.

this explains why some people buy crappy cheap power supplies.

  21. 1981z28camaro Says:

    rather get a …
rather get a quality product with less of a warranty.

    but both are important.

  22. 1981z28camaro Says:

    thanks :-)

    You …
    thanks :-)

You can’t really go wrong with either, when the difference is negligible, I then compare the price, and the Warranties of both companies.

The HX750W has a 5 year warranty, and they have another one (Forget which one) has a 7 Year Warranty. I like this, it shows they have faith in their product, and it gives me piece of mind too knowing I’m covered for a while :-)

but I choose solid products over warranty first. I wouldn’t want a crappy part with a 5 year warranty, lol

  23. meticadpa Says:

    You’re nearly …
You’re nearly correct. Corsair aren’t the best, but SeaSonic does make some of their units, but not this one. SeaSonic make the older HX series, the CX400, VX450, VX550 and the TX650. CWT make the newer HX series (the one in the video), the 750TX, 850TX, 950TX and the 1000HX.

As for a power supply that beats this: The SeaSonic X-750. Check out its review on JonnyGuru, nothing short of amazing.

Also, it’s nice to see a well-informed member of YouTube. :)

  24. NOXXism Says:

    Dude, here in my …
Dude, here in my country the difference is 50 bucks

  25. 1981z28camaro Says:

    Don’t buy into this …
Don’t buy into this “Crossfire Certified” crap, it will work for crossfire too.

it’s a marketing idea they came up with, they know that people look for certifications, and if their product says it’s certified, then they assume, that the others aren’t and so they buy their product.
